Stratton of Tangshan managed beat Mr. J. Band from Shameen, badly, it is understood. Mr. C. E Watson, of Tungshan, owing 110 who is calculated to be the player- of Tangshan, beat Mr. G. E Eyles of Shameen, owing 40 and had to go all out," it is said. It was

until within. 30 of the finish that Watson made any impression. Both players were most consist- ent throughout, and at 220 Eyles began to fag and Watson went ahead and won by 28 points. The final should prove a good match. It will be played sometime next week.
