NEW ONE-CENT PIECE.
Ottawa, March 30.-Sir Thomas White introduced a bill in the House of Coinmons here 10-day to provide for the issue.of а new ane-cent piece much smaller than the present. coin of that donomination. The present cent piece is about the size of a United States twenty-five-cant piece, and eighty of them weigh a pound. The new coin will be about the size of the United States cent, weighing fifty grains and running 140 to the pound.
