**10 (1) Any general meeting at which dividend or bonus b declared or auctioned may make a call on the members of such amant as the meeting Exes but so that the call on each member shall not exceed the dividend or bonus payable to him and so that notwithstanding the provisions of Articles 19,2 and 2 the call may be payable at the same time as the dividind or bonus and the dividend or bonna may, if an arranged beirren the Society and the member, be set off against the call. The making of a call under this Article shall be deemed ordinary business of an ordinary gooral meeting which declares a dividrod.

After any resolution has been passed andre the provisions of paragraph (1) of this Article the Board sy arrange on behalf of the Society for the dividend or boaaa to be set off against the call by authorizing any person on behalf of the members from an Agreement with the whom such call is due to enter into

only five million pieces. As it is impossible to export Bear. Cake and as coal and firewood cost very dear. Bean Cake, is now being used as fuel for power at the low price of about sixty en a piece. Bean Oil is comparatively high as there is a run of demand in the Sungari district, and it is now rated at about fifteen yen. The mills at Harbin are anxiously waiting for the restoration of peace.
