CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM ASSOCIATION.

-REPORT OF THE

COMMITTEE.

The report of the committee of the Constitutional Reform Associa- | tion to be submitted at the second annual general meeting of the mem- bers to be held to-day says:-

The Committee, in the early art of the year, laid themselves open to criticism in the Press for unt publicly attempting to achiere various reforms which had been on their programme aines the farma- tion of the Association. This ap. parent inactivity was principally based on the desire not to unduly embarrass the Government during the duration of the War, when it was considered that matters of Imperial and vital importance should not be delayed or interfered with. The Committee, however, held frequent meetings for the discussion of such reforms or problems that were suggested, with the result that en termination of hostilities public' meetings were called and largely attended to bring before the loenl Government and the sithorities in England the considered views and desires of a large section of the Community. These meetings will be fresh in the memories of you all. We think it advisable to repeat here the text of the" various resolutions -passed at these pablic meetings:—
