The Chairman said:-Gentle- mea, The Directors' report and statement of accounts for the year 1913 having been in your possession for the last two weeks,

It is with considerable pleasure that I come before you with such a favourable account of our operations for that period, because it represents the culmination of our efforts during the last five rather difficult years. Perhaps you will bear with me for a few moments while I give you a short account of our work during that time. While the Fleet was operating in these waters we did all that was asked of us in the way of repairs tu. His Majesty's ships. fitting unt armed merchantmen and transports.
