No 8. 337 It is hereby notified the:- sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Quarries," will be received at this Office until Noon on WEDNESDAY, the 18th day of December, 1918, for the letting of the undermen tioned Granite Quarries at Hong koog, Kowloon, and the New Ter ritories, for one year from the 1gt January, 1919.

Each tender must be accompanied by a receipt to the effect that the tenderer has deposited in the: Colonial Treasury a sum as stated in the schedule hereunder opposite to each quarry, as a pledge of the "bona fides" of his offer, which sur shall be forfeited to the Crown, il the tenderer refuses to carry out his tender and comply with the ditions hereinafter contained, should the tender be accepted.
