| Important Spy Arrested by Parlo Police.

An Austrian, for whom the police had been looking for somis tice, on charges of espionage, was arrested, recently, in a Paris music bill. He was setually attired in the uniform of a French cfficer in a Ziuare regiment, and weg wosting numerous decors- tions on his tanie. Beides being actively engaged in spying himealf, this man is believed to have recruited other spies for Garmany, and his capture is coveequently considered ins portant.

Death of Mr. Eugene Stratton. The death is announced of Mr.

The Prassian Stowaway, Efforts of the police to obtain any precise information about the mysterious Prussian, Keel Wilhelm Friederich Gipap, have proved unavailing, aud¦at Mary- lebone recently he was sentenced to six monthe' hard labour and recommended for deportation.
