"Foreiga Decorations.
The King has granted to Sir
John Field Baale, K. B. E., Vice- Chairman of the Royal Commission on Whest Supplies, Chairman of the Allied Whest Executive, suthority to wear the Cross of Officer of the Legion of Honour, conferred upon him by the President of the French Repablic, and to Mr. Farrow Biddall Bellamy, of Tensriff, suthority to wear the Cross of the Order of Immbel the Catholic, conferred upon him by the King of Spain, in reapgaition of valuable services rendered by them.
Prisoners' Welcome Home.. Two hundred and forty-two repatriated British prisoners of war, including 88 cot cases and 23 civilians, were landed at B38- ton recently. They were welcom ed by cheering crowds, waving of fliga, the ringing of church bells, the blowing of ships' sirene, and evolutions of low-flying! seroplanes. After the usual for malities, the soldiers left. for St. Pancras by special train.
