Field Marshal Sir Douglas Haig reportes Operations continued satisfactorily on the St. Qrentin-Cambrai battle-front.

We considerably advanced esstwards on to the high ground eastwards of Levergiss and on the extreme right north-east of St Quentin.

Farther north, we gained a footing in Joncourt and stormed the defences and village of Estress, clearing the enemy from high ground south of La Catelet.
