Mr. G. M. Barthal, who was merely taking a joyride and had no permission to enter the French. Settlement. He was ordered to put up $500 bail before being released, and when the case was called the following morning, the socused failing to respond the bail was promptly forfeited.

A Startling Experience. Mr. J. B.
