Lieutenant, E. Maaisy, of the Scots Guarda, oldest son of Sir J. P. Maclay, the Shipping Con troller, has been killed at the front. The Controller's second son, Lieutenant W. 8 Maolny, of the Scottish Rifles, was killed in action, in 1915. He has three- younger sons.
