Nathan of the Kallan Mining Administration, Tientsin, received the congratula tions of a number of friends on the 15th alt when the down became known that the King bad been pleased to confer on him the most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George (0.MG.) in recognition of valu- able services in connection with the war, dated 1st January, 1918.

Spotted Fever in „Japan. The Japan Caronials of the Ith alt states that three more. osses of cerebro-spinal mening- ities have occurred in Osaka and neighbourhood. This brings the total number of cases up to 443 in Osaka and to 60 in the rural districts around the city. Travelling In The Bast. Major Alan H. Conscientious Objector's Curious Excuso.
