The above mentioned vessel having arrived from above ports. Consignees of cargo are hereby informed that their cargo is be ing, landed at their risk into the hazardous and/or extra hazardous Godowns of the Hong- korg & Kowloon Wharf & Godown Co., Ltd., Kowloon, and stored at Consignees' Risk.
Con ignees of cargo are hereby notified that they must produce an Import Permit signed by the Superi tendent of Imports, & Exports Hongkong before bill of lading can be countersigned.
All broken, chafed and damag ed goods are to be left in the Go- downs where they, will be ar amined on Saturday Dec. 29th 1917, at 10 am
All claims must be presented within a month of the steamer's arrival here, after which they cannot be recognized.

"Forcibly Retired From Navy."
Mr. H. Malcolm Fraser applied in the Court of Appeal recently for leave to maks Mr. Balfour respondent in a petition which he had presented to the House of Lords. The action was for false imprisonment and for causing his forcible retirement from the Navy. Sir Frederick Hamilton was the original respondent, bat since the petition was presented he has died. Lord Justice Pickford said the application was mis conceived, and must be dismissed.
