Rubber Qualities in a Chinese Bark.

The bark has been iden- tified, with the assistance of Mr. Frank. Meyer, agricultura! explorer of the Barein of Plant. Industry, United States Depart ment of Agriculture, who in now in China. Mr. Meyer, speaking of the bark, states';- It is "Ta Chung," also called "Shih Mien." The names mean respectively "race of beart" and "algun cotton." The scientific name is "Esommis ulmoidee."
