Beater's correspondent at Washington says that Mr. Daniel, the Secretary of the Navy, bas issued a statement regarding th complete co-operation of the British Admiralty with American cavi men since the outbreak of war. He characterises the British Admiralty's spirit as ons of perfect openness, frankuses and co operation. The Admiralty has given access to every bit of inform ation relating to submarinism and has opened every door to Admiral Sime and his colleagues.

Reater's correspondent at Washington says that documentary proof of the machinations of German diplomacy, furnished by exbles between Count Bernsto: and Herr von Jagow in February, Maroh and May, 1918, is now published by the Sixte Department. Court Bernstcif, on February 28, cabled to Herr von Jagow tha be had received trustworthy information "concerning political notion ia one of the enemy countries, which might bring about parcs,”. the added that one of the leading political personalities of the oantry in question was seeking a load of 1.700,000 dollars in New York for which security would be given. He was forbidden to give che name, bat the affair was of the highest importance. He askeri for money to be cabled immediately.
