Manchester Dye Trade

The Manchester dye trade has undergone a revolution during the war and brought prosperity to more than one British firm, ow. ing to the necessity of inventing and manufacturing dyes formerly bought entirely from Germany. Just before the war the ebarea of one colour and dye stuff company were obtainable at nine billinge each. Now they are selling at ninety pounds sterling.
