Japan's Postal Savings.

A great increase in Japan'a postal savinga has been noticed of late. The deposits at the end of Jaly amounted to Y364,891,419 the number of depositore being 15 938,333. As compared with the end of the preceding month the dep-sits show a gain of over Y13,470,000, and depositora an increase of over 133,800. If the present siare of things continues, ih postal savings will exceed 7400,000,000 before the year cloden.
