Premier's County.

At a joint meeting of North Carnarvonshire Liberals at Bang- or a resolution was enthusiastic- ally passed inviting Mr. Lloyd George to become the candidate at the naxt election for what is now known as the Arfon Division of the county. Captain Osradoë Resa now represents the country division, and he has offered to make place for the Premier if the Reform Bill becomes an Act of "Parliament. Mr. Lloyd George «t present represents the Carner- Toa District, comprising the Boroughs of Carnarvon, Conway, Criccieth. Palbeli, Bangor, and Nevin. Under the new Bill the Boroughs would be included in the county constituency.

Successful Dash for Liberty.

Private A soldier, George Yang, Royal Hanster Fasiliers, who was taken prisoner by the Germans in August, 1914, has, with a comrade, succeeded ar the third a tempt in making his escape and has just reached hía bome.
