War Bonus for Admiralty Clerics.
The Amiralty have conceded a war bonus of 48. per week to the clerical staff in the Royal dockyards, payable from January 1. This will bring the war bonas of the olerical staffa to 83. The mechanics and Isbourers, on the other hand, receive 128, and it is a grievance with the clerical staff that they are not similarly treated, se they are equally sffected by the increased cost of living.
Good Templars and Prohibition.
The Good Template Lodge of South-east Lazosshire has pasted arcsolution protesting against tis waste of wealth, loss of efficiency and destruction of foods off cabed by the liquor traffit, and urging the Government immediately to prohibit the manufacioleend sale of intoxicating drink during the war bad for six monthe after- wards, and expressing determined opposition to any State-purchas scheme whereby private in'erest would be converted into a bage public interest in the liquor traffic.

Lord Haldane's Experience.
