Tram Conductresa's Death. Alfred Edward Bymau, 5%, engineer, Greenwich,, waa son- tenced to six months hard labour at Lambeth Police Court recently for an aggravated assault on Elizabeth Mitchell, a trencar- conductress in the employ of the LO.C. The allegation was that the prisoner, who was a passeng- er on the car, pushed the coodne tress off the platform, causing her to fall into the roadway. She continued her duties for a time, but was soberquently taken ill sad died. The charge had been reduced from one of manslaughter.
