SHARE REPORT.
Hesare, Benjamin and Potts, in their share report dated Friday, the 25th of May, 1917, atate:- The local market since our report of the 18th instant has continued dull, with very little bussiness passing. Rates are practically unchanged.
The Shanghai market seems to be in a more or less lifeless condition also. Cottons are slightly easier, whilst Shanghai Doka on the Sother band have advanced a couple of points.

Singsnare remains featurelses with prices at about last week's level. Plantation rubber comes through at 3/1 market steady. BANKS.Small males have been made at $705, at which rate more shares could probably be obtained. MARINE & FIRE INSURANCES. Once again we have no business to report under this heading. Unions remain nominal at $870. Owatons at 8359. – China Fires could be placed at $165, and Hongkong Firms are wanted at $325,- Yangiamos at $217, exüb: 73, -North Obines at Tia, 160, arë both.nosnimal. va CHIPPING.-Douglases have been placed at 4äli, sad motu sharns are wanted at this rate. Theca has been a better demand all the. week for this stock, but few sellers are forth coming. Shella are wanted at 1091. Steamboste have, buyers at $174 after sales at the rats. Star Ferries have dropped to a buying quotation of $30.
