The vessels which underwant an overhauling at Dairen during the last fiscal year by the Dairen Marine Association numbered 14 with an aggregate gross tonnage of 21,150, against six vessels of 5,532 tons and twelve-vessels of 19,630 tons for 1914 and 1915 respectively, whilst those over- hauled in Japan at the hands of the experts attached to the Association during the last fiscal year were sixty-five vessels. of 224,57) tons, showing a de- crease of forty-two vessels of |143,342 tons from 1914.
