Disabled Officers' Employment Agency.

The Council of the Swancen Chamber of Commerce has decid- ed to open a régister of employ ment for disabled officers of both the Army and Navy. The regi-ter will opened at the end of this month.

For Savlag Life at fes. Captain D. G. Whitbread, of the steamer Cyrano, of Hall, han been presented by the Danish Government with a silver cap in recognition of his servicce in rescuing the crew of the Daniab schooner Dans, wrecked in the North Sea in December last.

London's Street Accidents. Daring the last quarter 227 accidents to individuals caused by vehicles in the streets cecurred in the City of London, of which five were fatal. Of these 84 were occasince by hores-drawn vehi- cles, five by tram care, 89 by motor cars, 35 by motor-emni-] buser, two by motor-cycles, and two by ordinary cycles.

The Cost of Revolution. Peking, Jan. 16.-Demanda from the provinces for fanda in order to pay of revolutionary troops continue. The Taurus Tunnel.

An Old Queen's College Boy. Many friends will have learnt with regret of the death of Mr. Spencer T. Laitun in his 61st year, which was announced in these columns on Saturday, eays the N, O. Daily News of January 15. Mr. Latsun was a Chinese of British nationality, the son of a fermer interpreter to the late Li Hang-ebang. He was educated at Queen's College, Hongkong, sa attained an extraordinary command of English, writing it with a style that many English men might eavy. RHODINE.

RHODINE means acetyl acid of the purest quality.

It is the equivalent of the German Aspleine and is as efficient

if not more so than this last product for the same therapeutic purposes.

Each tablet contains 0.50 gramme of pure RHODINE. From 1 to 6 tablets a day may be taken, according to physician's prescription.

RHODINE is a special remedy for acute rheumation. If taken in proper doses, it will often cure and always alleviate headache, neuralgia, stomachic pains etc, if those complaints find their origin în rheumatism.
