The local market has remained dull throughout the week, the approach of the Chiness New Year and the scarcity of money restrioting the volume of business. Investment stocks are hard to place, there, being very little enquiry Shipping shares have remained at about the same level se last week's quotations, whilst Docks and Sugara have been sold for the Settlement at alightly reduced rates.
