Bingkok, December 18.-The Civil Court has dismissed the claim brought by. Andeng Sai | against Luang Phar. The plain. tiff claimed roommiation, 1060's- mortgage « f»cted/with the Prinos of Jained for Te 180,000 og certain Landa at Separum in favour of defendant. The defence denied that the mortgage was offried out through plaintifa offices, and the Court, finding that Amdang Szij had not arranged the mortgage, dismissed the claim.

Mr. J. Draper-Bentley. Says the N-C, Daily News of Jannsry 8: It is with deep regret | that we have to sanounce. the death of Mr. John Draper-Bentley which occurred on Saturday at bis residence, No. 10 Rogte Vol- lon, at the age of 57 years. The late Mr. Draper Bentley had been in failing health for about a year, his condition contining him to his honse for the greater part of that -time.
