The Late Lady Ciernenti-Smith, Lady Clementi-Smith, widow of Sir Ceail. Olementi-Smith, far- merly Governor of the Straite Bettlements(who died in February last), died on Nov. 29 at Sefton Cottage, Bognor. She was Teresa Alice, daughter of the late Mr. Arthur Nawlcomen, of Kirklest- ham Hall, Redcar, and married Sir Cecil Clementi-Smith in 1869. There were seven children of the marriage. Lady Olemasnti-Smith will be remembered by the many friends that she made both in Hongkong and the Straits Settle- menis, by whom her death is sincerely regretted.----London and China ExpresE.
