7,773.87 Baguio, P. I. The above motor transportation equipment was manufactured by the Yorkshire Patent Steam Wagon Co. (The Yorkshire Com- mercial Motor Co.), Leeds, England, under what is known as the Yorkshire Patents," and was purchased new from the manu- facturer by the Government of the Philippine Islands in 1913.

All of the equipment is in good serviceable condition and the six steam wagons and three trailer wagons in Manila bave had but little use in the past 18 months and have recently been repaired and overhauled in the Government Machine shops and are in first class condition.

The equipment is not constructed so as to conform to the re- quirements of the motor vehicle Law of the Philippine Islands and & condition of the sale will be, that said equipment will not be used upon the public highways of the Philippine Jelands.

Bids will be received for the purchase of all or any part of the above described equipment. The terms of the sale will be cash. upon delivery at Manila. All bids must be accompanied by a draft or certified check payable to the Treasurer of the Fhilippine Islanda," for 10% of the amount of any bid as a guarantee that de. livery of said equipment will be received at Manila, ant payment made therefor, within sirty days after notice is received of the 'acceptance of any bid.

To facilitate the dispatch of notice of acceptance or rejection of any bid, all bidders residing outside of the Philippine Islands should give the name and addries of a representative in the Philippine Islande to whom notice may be given.

All re tified cheeks or draft of unsuccessful bidders will be returned with notice of the rejection of their bid.

The right is reserved to sell privately at any time, all or any part of the above equipment, or to reject any or all bids received, or to accent such bid or hide as in the opinion of the undersigned are mosi advantager us to the Government of the Philippine Islands
