The above motor transportation equipment was manufactured by the Yorkshire Fatent Steam Wagon Co. (The Yorkshire Com- mercial Motor Ca.), Leeds, England, under what is known as the Yorkshire Patents," and was purchased new from the misau- facturer by the Government of the Philippine Islande in 1913.

All of the equipment is in good serviceable condition and the six steam wagons and three trailer wagons in Manils have had but little use in the past 18 months and have recently been repaired and overhauled in the Government Machine shops and are in first class condition.
