Mr. Asquith, warmly reciprocating, expressed Britain's agar- ance that the continned close co-operation of the two. Governmenta would greatly contribute to the certain suocess of the Allied caues, The Goverment and the people were unitedly convinced that the friendship of Britain and Bussis, already confirmed by their common efforts and sacrificae, would remain onebske: throughout the fature, tending towards the maintenance of peace and civilisation.
