Perak Water Rights Case. The Perak Water Rights onSE, in which a large claim is made for damages against Government, is to be reenmed on Nov. 13. 1 is regarded as likely "that · Mr. Justice Earnshaw of Singapore will come to Ipoh to take Mr. Justice Farrer Manby's musl work, for about three weeks, while the latter in engaged in hearing this case.

Wireless in Sarawak. The wireless installation in Kuching is now completed, and thoss in the three ont-stations, Sadong, Sibo, and Miri, are get- ing on rapidly. Trial messages between Kuching and Singapore and Penang have been exchanged and bave proved satisfactory. It is hoped that an expert will arrive from England shortly to report and supervise the transfer of the whole wireless system from the ontractors to the Govern- ment.
