Kitchener's Brother Fighting at 70.

New Bishop for Mysore. Bangalore, beptember 5.-A A cablegram received in Ban galore from Bome on Tuesday Announced the appointment of tha Rev. Monsignor Tessier 88 Eishop of Catholic Diccese of Mysore in succession to Bishop Basle, who died on September 13th last year at Bangalore. Father Tessier, who was born in Las Pay, France, 63 years ago, came out to India in 1879 and after 10 years spent in district work at Matigizi, nesr Bangalore, and at Ganjam, near Soringapaism, was appointed Procurator of the Mission is 1889) and became Vioar-General in 1910.
