The New York Harbour Explosion.
·New York, August 1-It has been ascertained that very fow people were killed by the explo sion at the National Storage Company's wharf, but the damage to property is heavy, and includes the loss of 40,000 toos of raw | sugar, valued at three and a half million dollars, and cars loaded with pork, salt, and ammunition, Thirteen storage warehouses and six piere were damaged. On Bedloes Island, on which the statue of Liberty stands, the damage is estimated at one million dollars. The statue itself was slightly damaged.
