Co. Kobe, has planned to build 19 stook shits, expecting to find a ready sale for them in these days of scarcity of steamers. The first two of the 19 are expected to be completed by the end of the year and there has been such a demand for them by Japanese and foreign shipping companie s that the price has been put up to Y. 300 per ton, the price of one ship amounting to Y. 2,300,600, according to report. It is stated that the two have been sold to the T.K.K. each at that figurs.
