The Fa Chung Corporation, ontablimbed lest year na com- bination of Chinese and Ehropean interests for disposing of the out- put of the syndicats's collieries and those of the Chung Yuan Company, is being steadily organized, and the amicable co operation between both parties has already yielded results which jast fy the existence of the orporation, but some time must monesoarily be spent in cc-ordiost ing the efforts of the colleries concerned, viz:-The Syndicate'a mines at Jameiton and the Chinese mines. The corpora tion requires a farther period of preliminary trading before the maximum benefits LC) US to ite operation. Both parties are already selling" more coal ander the present arrangements than they did in the preceding years.
The Syndicate's total output of ool for the six months ended December 31, 1915, as 285,496 tons, as against 119,971 tors dor ing the corresponding period ended December 31, 1914, and the eales 224,278 tone, an against 152,915 toon for the six mozthe endad December 31, 1914, the financial results having been cor. respondingly satisfactory, New agencies have been and are being opened, and, abouki the sales develop in the same ratio in fature, the large producing espaṁ city of the wines will be utilized to the fullest extent.
