It is officially EnDotaced here that there will be no further legislation of any sort. until the measures directly con nected with the administration's preparedness programme have all been definitely settled by Con gress. The Jones' Bill is among the 'measures, consideration of which will be held up on account of this decision.

The greater part are returning because they are-arable to find further work in Germany or on account. of the excessive rostliness of foodstuffs there. At Enschede, 1 town on the Dutch frontier, the police and relief committees are at their wits end. The Dutch people arrive in lamentable con- dition.
