A Petrograd communique says that the Russians continue the pursuit of the centre of the Turkish army which is retreating precipitately from the region of Lake Tortum, the Russians captar- ing prisoners, tifies, munitions and stores of all kinds. The Cossacka charged the Turkish rear-guard near the Erzerum forts, sabred. several hundred and captured over a thousand. The remainder of the rear-guard fed to Ezerum. The Russian artillery has bombarded the forts at Erzerum.
