MONTENEGRO THREATENED.

November 28, 3.25 a.m. A Montenegrin communique says that the enemy has been Belively reconnoiring recently and preparing for ceveral days for a great stroke against Montenegro.

A telegram from Amsterdam says that, the war against Serbia being nearly ended, action against Montenegro will be taken with the utmost vigour.. The Montenogrins will shortly be driven back in their own territory, where they will be deprived of their supplies and munitions and they will finish their role in the win.

ARRIVES IN ROME.

Reuter's correspondent in Rome says that Earl Kitchener has arri ved there and was welcomed enthusiastically by allclasses, with mani festations of the most profound esteem, including members, of the Cabinets, senatore, deputies, officers of the army and navy.
