November 28, 8 55 p.m. Responsibility for the designs and specifications, the testing of arms, ammunitions and invention. in connection therewith, has been transferred from the Army Oosocil to the Ministry of Mani tions, which onceforth will control the Ordnance, Bond and Research Department at Woolwich Arsenal, the Experimental Establishment at Shoeburyness, and the War office Inventions Department.

The services of Major Gaseral Du Caus have been placed at the disposal of the Ministry of Munitions in this connection.
