The ohildren of Hongkong, whether they be Britiub born, or of subject race; or even alien, ars enjoying without distinotion the protection |which the British flag affords and they cannot be taught too soon what, is meant by loyalty and a proper respect for the emblem of British government. We do not for a moment attribute any laxity [in this matter' but rather an abuenos of feeling that instruction upon the point is necessary Here is an
