October 18, 5.30 p.m. Router's correspondent at Marseilles says it is now announced that there were 71 victime when the s.e. Amiral Hamelini nas torpedoed.

Router's Paris correspondent saya that the sinking was a despicable outrage. The submarine fired without warning, and thereafter over forty shells struck the steamer while the passengers and grow were taking to the boate. The noise of the firing brought a French destroyer and a British hospital ship on the scene; but the submarine sank the Amiral Hamelin with two torpedoes before disappearing.
