Owing to the fact that merah-. ants in Chins and Japan are unable to parabase supplies in Europe at the present time, sád because this stream of commerce. is diverted partly to the United States, enormous cargoes are offering at Pacific Coast ports for the Far East says the Vancouver World. The bulk of the ship- mants come from the East, South and Middle West. According to local representatives of the Nippon Yason Kalaha liae, all the vesela of that line in the trans-Pacifio trade up to and including the Japanese steamer Yokohama Mara, which sails from Seattle on August 20, have been booked to capacity. The Blas Farnel Liners sailing from this port are also completely booked up for cargo space out of Seattle. The steamer Aki Maru, which sailed for Chinese and Japanese porta from Seattle on Tuesday last was booked up two months ago. The vessel had a cargo of 5,500 weight tons, including 4000 bales of raw cotton for Yokohama, Kobe, and Moji: 3500 tons of iron and steel articles; 1500 naoke of, flour for Shanghai, and other freight. The Japanese steamer Tamba Maru, which sails from Seattle on August 10 for the Far East, was booked full over a week ago.
