Banks-Hongkong and Shanghai Banke are a firm market with bayers offering $820. Small sales have taken place at $815 and

Marine Insurances-Unions have improved from $920 to 8925 buyers but shares are scarce and difficult to obtain. Cantons are strong with buyers at the enhanced rate of $375, North Obinas are quoted from the North at Tis. 1001 bayers and Yanglezes at 8240 buyers.

Fire Insurances,China Fires have changed bands at $151 and more shares are wanted. Hongkong Fires bavo buyers at $307h with small sale reported at $400.
Shipping: Indo-Chines continue in demand and the price bas advanced to $152) bayers: Douglas'e bave sold sa high as $70, but at the close there are sellers at $69. Shell Transports are 88) and Star Ferries $36 both buyers. Hoogkong Canton and Macao Steamboats are wanted at the improved rats of $20.
Refineries-China Sugara: have improved from $127% to $181 sales and buyers. Luzons are wanted at $46.
