The shipping returns for the port of Saitou (Taingtao) during, the month of June last give a total of 44 vessels of 45 809 tons in arrivals, comprising 37 Japan- ese vessels of 37.412 tons and 7 British vessels of 8.197 tone, and of 41 vessels of 42,921. tous in departures, comprising 35 Japan- ese vessels of 37,524 tons and 5 British vessele of 5,397 tons. The incoming vessels comprise 12 from Oasks, 15 from Dairen, 7 from Shanghai, 4 from Chemal po, and 6 from other porta. The custome receipts during the same period totalled Hk.
