ARMY TERMS EXPLAINED: Army corps in a complete army on a small scale in itself. The strength varies from 35,000 to -45,000 men. Division is a force of infantry, cavalry, and artillery, usually with a strength of from 15,000 to 20,000 men. Bouth-East of the Brigade in a force of infantry or cavalry. The infantry brigade in from 4,000 to 7,000 strong The cavalry brigade is from 1,000 to 2,000 strong.
