Our market has been an retire ore during the week under review and a large business has been put through, particularly in Indos, Douglas's, China Sogais, Lozons and Hongkong Docks the values of which have risen very appreciably. The tone of the market at the close is film with a tendency to still higher values.
Bar Silver is quoted at 22 9/16 per os. for ready,
Exchange on London opened to-day at 1/9 T.T.'
Banks-Hongkong and Shanghai Banka bave improved from $812) to 815 buyers.
Marine Insurances-Onious Lave charged lands at $895; $900 and $910 closing firm at the latter figure. Cantone are in demand at $368, Yangtizes are quoted from the North at $240 Ex73 and North Chinas at Tls, 160.
Fire Insurancee, Chica Fires are wanted at $150 after sales at the rate and Hongkong Fires at $395.
