Renter's representative at Sebastopol reports that Russian des troyers attacked, near the Bosphorus, a Turkish submarine, which fired a torpedo without result and disappeared when shelled.

FRENCH BOAT SINKS SUBMARINE.
July 8, 8.25 p.m.. Jetails are now to band of the sinking of a German sabmarina mentioned officially on July 5.
The French patrol boat, Hollande, while off Boulogne fired twenty-five shote short range. The submarine was hit and dis- appeared in a cland of thick smoke leaving a patch of oil on the surface. She seemed to be of the most reat type.
