Engineering Patent.

A patent has been granted for an arrangement for the removal. of air from boiler feed water: The feed water returning to the boiler is sprayed into the upper part of a special form of vacuum obam- ber and is there broken up by s series of staggered partitions or baffles. The water is at the same time heated to any desired tem perature by a steam jet or coil attached to the chamber.
