Safety of Life at Sea. A conference-of-intereste con- cerned has recommended that. the Bengal Chamber of Commerce should urge the Government of Indis not to comply with the International Convention for Safety of Life at Sea, but that it should legislate on the lines of the report of the committee it had appointed.
