Dairen Shipping Returns for

August.

The shipping returns for the port of Dairen for the month of August last give a total of 148 vessels with gross tonnage of 258,690 in entries, showing a decrease of 29 vessels with groaĄ tonnage of 343,681 This fal ling-off was obviously due to the suspension of foreign steamer services to Dairen. In addition to the above, the sailing vessels, inolusive of junks, and militory transporta which entered this port during the same peried totalled 128.
