The Japanese Navy.

In October last, the strength of the Japanese Navy stood thus: Battleships, 15 (building 1); battle craisers, 1 (building 3);} armoured cruisers, 13; protected cruisers, first class 2, second-class 18, third class 4; unproteosed craicers (scouts), 4; torpado vesels, 3 torpedo-bost destros ere, 50; torpedo-boats, 57; sub marines 13 (building 2). The personnel, consists of 05,000 officers and men available for Botive service. The battleshipa include four Dreadnoughts, the Sateams, the Aki, the Kawnoki and the Sation; and there is one battleship, the Fuso, of 3,000 tone, under construction and to be completed this year.
